Launched to great fanfare at last year’s global sales expo, ARGO’s Wilderness Series of vehicles has performed extremely well for the company, with the hunting specific models now comprising roughly 65 per cent of all vehicles sold globally. The 2017 Wilderness Series models builds on that success with numerous improvements and upgrades.
ARGO Frontier 6×6 Scout S / ARGO Frontier 6×6 Scout ST / ARGO Frontier 8×8 Scout S
Customized with a Mossy Oak Break Up Infinity Camo pattern for hunters and outdoorsmen who require greater stealth in the woods, both the ARGO Frontier 6×6 Scout ST / ARGO Frontier 8×8 Scout S are powerful, reliable and as tough-as-nails. Designed for serious hunters looking to explore remote hunting grounds, both models feature a number of unique options as standard equipment including:
- Upgraded seat cushions as well as a front seat backrest pad featuring refined stitching and custom embossing of the ARGO logo
- 2-position, fold down rack for extra cargo storage

Luxuriously equipped for serious hunters, the 2017 ARGO Avenger 8×8 Hunt Master models represent the ultimate all season, all-terrain amphibious vehicle, featuring a host of high performance features
designed to easily get sportsmen to the best hunting grounds and then safely back to camp.
Customized with a Mossy Oak Break Up Infinity Camo pattern for hunters and outdoorsmen who require greater stealth in the woods, each of the new 2017 ARGO Avenger 8×8 Hunt Master models come with an upgraded triple differential ADMIRAL LS steering transmission capable of reaching a top end speed of 25 mph (39.5 km/hr), 25 per cent faster than any other ARGO on the market.

The 2017 ARGO Avenger 8×8 Hunt Master models each come with a 30 hp liquid-cooled electronic fuel-injected Kohler LH 775 engine providing plenty of power for tackling challenging terrain. All Avenger 8×8 Hunt Master models also include the revolutionary new Lite-Steer (LS transmission) which makes steering smoother and easier than ever and upgraded heavy duty axles and sprockets providing the units with increased strength and durability. All Avenger 8×8 Hunt Master models also feature new reversible, offset steel rims which allow the wheels to sit closer or further out from the vehicle, simplifying track installation for dealers and end users alike.
In addition to the Lite-Steer steering feature, all Avenger 8×8 Hunt Master models also come with a choice of standard, high torque, or high speed transmissions, depending on customer preference.
ARGO Conquest 8×8 Outfitter XTi-Z / ARGO Conquest 8×8 Outfitter XTi
Designed to meet the specifications of hunt camp operators, lodge owners, and big game guides who traverse the world’s toughest terrain, both the new 2017 ARGO Conquest 8×8 Outfitter XTi-Z and ARGO Conquest 8×8 Outfitter XTi models are the industry’s premier off-road hunting vehicles and feature a number of unique options as standard equipment including:
- Upgraded front and rear seat cushions as well as a front seat backrest pad featuring refined stitching and custom embossing of the ARGO logo
- Angle mounted four gun Sure Grip gun rack to ensure the safe transportation of weapons to the best hunting grounds
- Removable hood rack capable of carrying cargo and small game out of the bush
- Enhanced brushguard provides outstanding protection for the front end of the vehicle, absorbing impacts from off-road hazards such as brush, branches, and more

The ARGO Conquest 8×8 Outfitter XTi-Z also includes a heater. Both models are powered by a 30 hp 748 cc electronic fuel-injected Kohler LH 775 engine coupled with an efficient ADMIRAL steering transmission for great performance in challenging terrain.
With a load capacity of 1,275 lbs and towing capacity of up to 2000 lbs, hunters can now rest easy that no matter what game is in the season, the ARGO Conquest 8×8 Outfitter XTi’s all-season mobility and impressive payload will get them to and from the most prime hunting spots. All this power is matched by a commitment to respecting the environment with low emission rates that meet both EPA and CARB standards.
The 25” ARGO Tires can get through extreme terrain with their aggressive tread pattern and lug size, and their excellent approach and departure angles allow for easy travel over obstacles.
